I initially signed up to the tester for a friend, and whilst I was watching I realised that it was an opportunity I had to take for myself. The more I heard from the trainers the more convinced I was to make this investment for my future, due to the great development opportunities available in housing. It took me 2 days to make the decision after doing research into the industry. From the point of signing up, the communication from the team was friendly and detailed. I knew that there would be lots of information to digest but nothing could have prepared me for the first day of learning. The course details and information given was extensive but I was amazed at how well presented it all was, very clear and concise.

Although the first week was overwhelming, by the beginning of the second week, after a weekend to recuperate, I realised how much I had taken in when discussing the course with family and coming out with so many facts including specific laws and legislations. Week 2 brought everything we had learnt so far together like puzzle pieces building one seamless picture. All of the trainers were interactive, friendly and challenged us well at each stage. By week 2, I realised the true value of my investment and the significant improvements in my career that this could provide me with in the long run.

Since completing the course, the support from the team when applying for jobs, updating my CV and compiling expression of interest letters has resulted in me already receiving 2 interview offers within 2 weeks (currently awaiting a decision from the first interview so far!). The cost of the course is nothing compared to the information, support and
confidence which I gained for now and in the future.

Coming from a career in the NHS the trainers here opened my eyes to all of the transferrable skills that I have from my current position and that I would still be in a position where I can be helping others. I want to give a big thanks to all of the course trainers, particularly Lere and Ola for their continuous advice, guidance and belief in my abilities to progress in this industry and I am so pleased to have been part of the first group of students to go through this course.
